Existence results for singular integral equations of fredholm type
1. I N T R O D U C T I O N This paper discusses the existence of one (or indeed more) solutions to singular integral equations of the form y(t) = O(t) + k(t, s)[g(y(s)) + h(y(s))] ds, for t ~ [0, 1]; (1.1) here our nonlinearity g + h may be singular at y = 0. In [1], we established the existence of one nonnegative solution to (1.1) using the Leray-Schauder alternative. However, in [1], we had t...
متن کاملA Regularization of Fredholm Type Singular Integral Equations
We present a method to regularize first and second kind integral equations of Fredholm type with singular kernel. By appropriate application of the Poincaré-Bertrand formula we change such integral equations into a second kind Fredholm’s integral equation with at most weakly singular kernel. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. 45Exx, 45E05, 45B05.
متن کاملExistence results of Brezis-Browder type for systems of Fredholm integral equations
Using an argument originating from Brezis and Browder [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 81, 7378 (1975)] and a fixed point theorem, we establish the existence of solutions of the first system in (C[0, T]), whereas for the second system, the existence criteria are developed separately in (Cl[0,∞)) n as well as in (BC[0,∞)). For both systems, we further seek the existence of constant-sign solutions, which in...
متن کاملConvergence analysis of product integration method for nonlinear weakly singular Volterra-Fredholm integral equations
In this paper, we studied the numerical solution of nonlinear weakly singular Volterra-Fredholm integral equations by using the product integration method. Also, we shall study the convergence behavior of a fully discrete version of a product integration method for numerical solution of the nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equations. The reliability and efficiency of the proposed scheme are...
متن کاملExistence of Solutions for Mixed Volterra-fredholm Integral Equations
In this article, we give some results concerning the continuity of the nonlinear Volterra and Fredholm integral operators on the space L1[0,∞). Then by using the concept of measure of weak noncompactness, we prove an existence result for a functional integral equation which includes several classes of nonlinear integral equations. Our results extend some previous works.
